This Academic year 2009-2010, at Royal School of Administration , I have learned about Labor Law (1997) of Cambodia. The labor law is a set of rules that control relations between employers and employees arising out of employment contracts. There are rules about recruiting, and hiring employees, salary, hours of work, paid time off, taking disciplinary action, terminating employees………….. There are 396 article, group by 19 chapters in this Law. The Labor Law (1997) approved on 10 January of 1997 by National Assembly and signed by king on 13 March in the same year.
At my class, Labor Law (1997) is teaching by H.E Haing Sitha, the Advisor and Vice Director of Cabinet of H.E Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister Minister of National Defense.
Studying with him is wonderful, I feel I get understanding it easily and clearly. We thank Royal School of Administration so much that provides us the nice teacher like him.
